Energyshield Wall Insulation

Atlas EnergyShield wall products can be installed on the exterior, interior, or within wall assemblies. Common installations include wood or steel stud, masonry, concrete, sheathing, gypsum and more. With flexibility in installation, Atlas has the ability to meet wall insulation needs for nearly any project.

EnergyShield Continuous Wall Insulation

EnergyShield® is recommended for use in both residential and some commercial construction applications. Atlas EnergyShield Wall insulation is composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core, faced with tri-laminate foil. The blowing agent used to produce the polyiso foam core does not contain any CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. EnergyShield has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP).

EnergyShield combines high R-value (6.5 per inch), durable foil facers, and water resistive attributes in a high performance rigid wall insulation. EnergyShield is suitable for a variety of continuous insulation (CI) applications.

EnergyShield CGF Continuous Wall Insulation

EnergyShield® CGF is perfect for projects that require glass-faced insulation to provide vapor permeability. EnergyShield CGF (formerly Rboard®) is composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core, faced with a non-reflective coated glass-mat facer on both sides. The blowing agent used to produce the polyiso foam core does not contain any CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. EnergyShield CGF has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP).

EnergyShield CGF combines high R-value (6.0 per inch), enhanced durability from two coated glass-mat facers, and water resistive attributes in a high performance rigid Wall insulation. EnergyShield CGF is suitable for a variety of continuous insulation (CI) applications.

Stucco-Shield Continuous Wall Insulation

Stucco-Shield® is designed specifically for use in hardcoat stucco and EIFS systems using the same patented coated glass facer found in EnergyShield CGF. Available in large 4 ft. by 8 ft. boards to reduce joints and labour, this purpose-built insulation board resists alkalinity and has a higher R-value (6.0 per inch) than XPS and EPS. Stucco-Shield provides the ideal substrate for EIFS or stucco walls.

EnergyShield Panel Cast Continuous Concrete Insulation

EnergyShield® PanelCast™ is an industry leader in concrete insulation. Based on EnergyShield CGF, PanelCast is glass faced insulation that does not require additional labor in the field to prepare it for mounting to concrete surfaces thanks to its rough surface that invites a strong mechanical bond. This efficient, resilient insulation product is vapor permeable, helping to prevent water issues and the formation of mold, and it’s alkaline resistant, providing a better long-term bond to wet concrete than other insulation. PanelCast also includes the full range of EnergyShield CGF benefits such as fire resistance, durability and superior R-value.

EnergyShield Pro Continuous Wall Insulation

EnergyShield® Pro provides Class A fire performance and an airtight barrier, helping to control air quality and temperature. Atlas EnergyShield Pro is composed of a Class A closed cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core faced with a reflective 12 mil reinforced foil facer on one side and a white 12 mil reinforced acrylic-coated aluminum facer on the other. The blowing agent used to produce the polyiso foam core does not contain any CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. EnergyShield Pro has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP).

EnergyShield Pro combines high R-value, Class A foam core, durable aluminum facers, and water resistive barrier attributes in a high performance rigid wall insulation. EnergyShield Pro is designed to be used as exterior continuous insulation (CI) or may be reversed for interior applications in compliance with NFPA 286 for interior walls only or ceilings only where a clean white surface is desirable.

EnergyShield CGF Pro Continuous Wall Insulation

EnergyShield® CGF Pro is great for large-scale commercial applications in which the commercial building needs to “breathe making it a great choice for jobs that require vapor-permeable insulation. Atlas EnergyShield CGF Pro (formerly Rboard Pro) is composed of a Class A fire rated closed cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core faced with a high performance coated glass facer on the front and back. The blowing agent used to produce the polyiso foam core does not contain any CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. EnergyShield Pro has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP).

EnergyShield CGF Pro combines high R-value, Class A durable glass facers, and water resistive barrier attributes in a high performance rigid insulation board. Panel sizes are 4ʹ by 8ʹ or 4ʹ by 9ʹ. Panels can be supplied in nominal 16ʺ or 24ʺ widths for use in cavity wall applications. Custom sizes are also available.
